For that purpose our college provided various resources. We have the innovative approaches for the knowledge empowerment of the students. For that we have well equipped laboratory which is full of learning materials in mathematics. We also encourage them for activity based learning strategies for concept formation, structuring learning activities using manipulative, story problems, games, outdoor activities and real life situation. 41 Like this way we also motivate the students for power point presentation, wisely process based lesson planning, preparation and demonstration of TLM for constructive classroom. We also motivate them to make sense of a new curriculum, how they choose and use instructional materials to teach a new curriculum, with implications for preserve and in-service education. Not only that we also insist the students to use the geometrical instruments, graph chart, to use C.D (TLM), to prepare the C.D for future use. We also encourage the students to use the text books, reference book, different mathematics journal and interest for their above all knowledge development. Along with these we also send the students for internship in different school for acquiring the practical knowledge which is necessary for their future profession. I.C.T & IT RESOURCE

The central aim of IT management is to generate value through the use of technology. IT Management is different from management information systems. The latter refers to management methods tied to the automation or support of human decision making. IT Management refers to IT related management activities in organizations. It resources help both the students and faculty by satisfying them with answer and necessary facts and figures as per quarries through web searches, using computers, smart class room, projectors etc. As our college is a Wi-Fi free campus so the faculty members can search and collect their resources and present it through smart class before the students. The students also surf net, present their paper, CAP, oral presentation through the use of smart class and projectors. Subject wise demonstration classes, audio video recording of the classes of both the faculty and students are done. Students and teachers are connected in WhatsApp group, Facebook, through mail and sms. Audio system is fixed which is used in seminar room and in the multipurpose room. A primary focus of ITC management is the value creation made possible by technology. While the value creation for an organization involves a network of relationships between internal and external environments, technology plays an important role in improving the overall value chain of an organization. However, this increase requires business and technology management to work as a creative, synergistic, and collaborative team instead of a purely mechanistic span of control. This led technology providers to build out and complement their product centric infrastructure and management offerings with Converged Infrastructure environments that converge servers, storage, networking, security, management and facilities. The efficiencies of having this type of integrated and automated management environment allows enterprises to get their applications up and running faster, with simpler manageability and 45 maintenance, and enables ITC to adjust ITC resources (such as servers, storage and networking) quicker to meet unpredictable business demand.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

In the field of physical education and health, students learn about human body, exercise and nutrition. Physical education and health education studies give students a scientific base of knowledge that combined biological, physical, and environmental and social science. I tried to teach my students how to improve our physical fitness with easy way. Sports training aims at improving the performance of sports persons. The sports performance depends on several factors. The performance of a sports persons primarily depends on his performance capacity which is a complex of five groups of factors. All these factors therefore, are the principal aims of sports training. The constitution or physique is almost completely genetically 46 determined and hence cannot be improved by training. But the other four group‟s factors are trainable to a greater or a lesser extent. These four therefor are generally considered to be the aims of sports training. I emphasis on basic composition of physical fitness such as strength, speed endurance, flexibility, agility etc. I tried to teach my students the golden rules of sports training and how to improved our physical fitness. I have used some equipment‟s such as switch mat for enhance speed, treadmill and stopwatch watch develop endurance, squat thrust and zigzag run test used for develop agility and yoga exercise enhanced students physical fitness. B. GENDER EQUALITY WOMEN EMPOWERNMENT:

It has estimated that 78% of India‟s working women involved in agriculture 35% of which as cultivators and 43% as labours. The women in urban slums and villages are relatively worst off than men has additionally burdened with responsibilities of their homes. With no real economic independence, non-existent involvement in the decision making process and most importantly their low level of awareness even on common developmental issues, their basic rights, ways and means to have access up to the available facilities. Consequently, this section of the society has become the victim of social and economic inequalities perpetuated by an exploitative social, economic and political order. Wage discrimination and exclusion from decision-making process has made an adverse impact on their control over resources, access to livelihood opportunities, information, technology, skills and so on. Therefore the intervention of VIVEKANANDA EDUCATION TRUST – PURBA MEIDNIPUR is required pointiest. Both in urban and rural areas and all possible steps are being taken to address the needs of women in deprived areas to ensure that the resources and means are available to them so that they can participate in the decision making process of developmental activates and also to involve them in the sustainable manner. To continue the efforts of empowering women VIVEKANANDA EDUCATION TRUST – PURBA MEIDNIPUR envisages for strengthening partnership with the tribal and davit women in its developmental areas. In order to enhance the status of women and promote gender equality, women are to be encouraged and empowered to participate with their full potential and on equal footing. To ensure their economic independence, attempts has made towards bridging the gap between community forums and the government and for 49 establishing a viable linkage with the line departments to help in reducing poverty. Our interventions also aims to prepare them to act as agents for change not only in the community development initiatives but to work as a pressure group to pursue policies related to community development at all possible levels. Our plans continue towards empowering and enabling the women, in our target areas, to participate in policy-making and decision-making process at all levels of the society.

C. REDUCING BELOW POVERTY LINE

As per available statistical data, about 43% of population in India, including rural Slum dwellers, tribal areas, scheduled castes and scheduled tribes, live below the poverty line. Therefore, no Country even dreams of progress and prosperity, till this level is drastically reduced, if not completely eliminated. Therefore, it is of dire importance to make all out efforts to increase the sources of livelihood so that people living in BPL has brought above this line so that they can contribute their bit in the overall development of the country. This is also one of the main objectives under the 11TH Five year Plan of the country, as part of Millennium Development Goals. Looking at the importance of this objective in its perspective planning policies, aspires to give appropriate thrust towards achieving this goal of National importance. With this objective in mind, VIVEKANANDA EDUCATION TRUST – PURBA MEIDNIPUR is giving top priority in its perspective planning policies to make a concentrated effort towards increasing the sources of livelihood, Skill Development Programme, Promotion of Employment through Vocational Training and to prepare the people capable enough for earning which is sufficient for them to lead an improved quality of life in the society with optimum level of standard of living due to increase of the overall monthly income of the poor and slum community.

D. HEALTH AND SANITATION:

It has been realized that with the growing population, people require an increased and improved services specially that of health to cater to their requirement. The situation calls for immediate attention in the growing cities where most of the population is either illiterate or poverty stricken, living in difficult conditions and largely ignorant to avail health services. The available health services, particularly in cities, are either very expensive or depend on the whims of the Government functionaries. The problems in Government, run hospital are numerable, ranging from non-availability of drugs/facilities to the indifferent attitude of Doctors and paramedics. The condition in private hospitals is also not very satisfactory due to their financial motive. All the growing cities, without exception, are Therefore, in dire need of proper healthcare services. The poor health condition has attributed:

  • Insensitivity of the masses towards preventive health care services;

  • Unhygienic conditions;

  • Lacking of facilities etc.

To offset such deficiencies, a beginning has to make by ensuring appropriate maternal and child health care, which include proper immunization to mother and children, regular growth monitoring and the like.
